Continuous Monitoring Station

Stony Mountain Air Monitoring Station is located 5.5 km west of the community of Conklin, AB, near a provincial fire tower (55.621408, -111.172686).
The Stony Mountain station contains analyzers that continuously measure Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Total Reduced Sulphur (TRS), Ozone (O3), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Nitric Oxide (NO), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Total Hydrocarbons (THC), Non Methane Hydrocarbons (NMHC), Methane (CH4), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Particulate Matter 2.5 (PM2.5). Temperature, wind speed and direction, relative humidity, leaf wetness, global radiation, and precipitation are also continuously measured.
