Portable-station Monitoring Station
WBEA uses Portable Air Monitoring Stations to measure air quality in locations where a permanent air monitoring station does not exist. Based on regulatory requirements, ambient air quality monitoring may be required for 3, 6, or 12 months per year. A portable air monitoring station is not currently deployed at the Meg Energy Christina Lake Project (Latitude, Longitude: 55.404, -110.4220).
The Sawbones Bay portable measures Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Nitric Oxide (NO), Total Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Particulate Matter 2.5 (PM2.5) wind speed and direction, temperature and relative humidity.
For more information regarding the Sawbones Bay Air Monitoring Station, please see the station site documentation.
