Continuous Monitoring Station

The Barge Landing Monitoring Station is located on Barge Road off of Highway 63 North of Fort McKay (Latitude, Longitude: 57.198186, -111.599542).
The Barge Landing station contains analyzers that continuously measure Total Reduced Sulfur (TRS), Total Hydrocarbons (THC), Non Methane Hydrocarbons (NMHC), Methane (CH4), wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, humidity and temperature. Time integrated sampling includes Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), and Particulate Matter 2.5 (PM2.5) analyzers were added to the Barge Landing AMS following the decommissioning of the nearby Muskeg River AMS, in November 2018.
