Are you a Fort McMurray resident? Are you concerned about odours that sometimes occur in the Fort McMurray area? Do you want to know what causes these odours, and how often they occur?

So do we. And you can help us find out!

Through its Human Exposure Monitoring Program, WBEA is conducting a Community Odour Monitoring Project to help identify the patterns and types of odours that are commonly experienced in the Fort McMurray area.

Interested in learning more? Attend one of the upcoming Community Odour Monitoring Project information sessions:

3:00pm or 6:30pm

Wednesday, May 14

WBEA Office, #100-330 Thickwood Blvd.

The information sessions will last one hour, and will provide general information about the project, how it works, and how you may be able to contribute.

Visit the Community Odour Monitoring Project page for more info, or contact the WBEA office at 780-799-4420.

Please note that the Community Odour Monitoring Project is focused in Fort McMurray in 2013/2014. Based on feedback and need, similar projects may be implemented in othercommunities within the RMWB in the future.
