Continuous Monitoring Station

The Anzac Air Monitoring Station is a community station located approximately 35 km southeast of Fort McMurray on the northern edge of the hamlet of Anzac (Latitude, Longitude: 56.448908, -111.037975).

The Anzac station contains analyzers that continuously measure Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Total Reduced Sulphur (TRS), Nitric Oxide (NO), Total Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Total Hydrocarbons (THC), Non Methane Hydrocarbons (NMHC), Methane (CH4), Ozone (O3), Particulate Matter 2.5 (PM2.5), wind speed and direction, precipitation, relative humidity, and temperature. Time integrated sampling includes Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), Particulate Matter 10 (PM10) and Particulate Matter 2.5 (PM2.5) samplers.
