You're Invited! WBEA Earth Day Talks - April 22

The number, size and intensity of wildfires has been increasing over the last 30 years. What are the causes? What are the effects?

On April 22, 2017 you're invited to the Wood Buffalo Environmental Association’s Earth Day talks.

Matt Landis, Ph.D., will explore the largest wildfire in Alberta’s history and the impact it had on the Region’s air quality, and Eric S. Edgerton, Ph.D., will examine the influence of wildfires on atmospheric concentrations in the Athabasca Region.

Don’t miss the WBEA Earth Day talks, Saturday April 22 (Earth Day), from 11AM to 1 PM at the Wood Buffalo Regional Library.

For more information, please contact the WBEA office at 780-799-4420 or nicole.greville@wbrl.ca.
