New video gives overview of JOSM Summer Air Monitoring Project

A new video is now available detailing the six-week intensive field study conducted by the Air Quality Research Division of Environment Canada, in collaboration with the Alberta-Canada Joint Oil Sands Monitoring (JOSM) partners. The study was done in the oil sands region during August and September of 2013, and included both airborne and ground-based measurements focusing on air pollutants.

MEDIA RELEASE: WBEA elects Aboriginal, Industry, Government and ENGO members to Governance Committee

Fort McMurray, Alberta – The Wood Buffalo Environmental Association (WBEA) elected a new Governance Committee at the Association’s 16th Annual General Members meeting on Wednesday in Fort McMurray. Made up of two Aboriginal members, three industry members, one government member and one environmental non-government member, the new Governance Committee is a well-balanced, multi-sector representation of WBEA’s entire membership.
