WBEA uses Portable Air Monitoring Stations to measure air quality in locations where a permanent air monitoring station does not exist. The Northern Lights Portable is currently deployed at the Athabasca Leismer project (Latitude, Longitude: 55.484658, -111.262596).
The Leismer portable measures Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Nitric Oxide (NO), Total Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), wind speed and direction, temperature and relative humidity.
For more information regarding the Leismer Monitoring Station, please see the station site documentation.
