AMS 1 - Bertha Ganter

Bertha Ganter - Fort McKay is a community station,  located near the northwest corner of the Fort McKay Water Treatment Plant (Latitude, Longitude: 57.189428, -111.640583). This station was built in the fall of 1997.

The Bertha Ganter - Fort McKay station contains analyzers that continuously measure Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Total Reduced Sulphur (TRS), Nitric Oxide(NO), Total Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Total Hydrocarbons (THC), Non Methane Hydrocarbons (NMHC), Methane (CH4), Ammonia (NH3), Ozone (O3), Particulate Matter 2.5 (PM2.5), global radiation, leaf wetness, wind speed and direction, relative humidity, temperature, and precipitation. Time integrated sampling includes Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), Particulate Matter 10 (PM10), Particulate Matter 2.5 (PM2.5), precipitation, and passive samplers. At Bertha Ganter- Fort McKay, the WBEA also operates samplers for the non-continuous parameters PAHs, VOCs, ions, coarse and fine particulate matter, Speciation Air Sampling (SASS), and Carbonyls on behalf of Environment and Climate Change Canada.
